Vickie Kazee Hollifield held her annual 3-day Softball and Baseball camp at Bear Creek Sports Complex over the weekend. The event, attended by dozens of young athletes ranging from 5-years-old to 8th grade, saw coaches conduct seminars on hitting, pitching, and fielding. Hollifield, a former head coach at Carson-Newman University, is a HFCA Hall of Famer, and was joined in instruction by Jakob Hamilton from Oneida High, former coach and athlete Kim Smith, and Morgan Crawford, a former All-American picture, who serves as the head coach at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe in Georgia.
