OHS Names Jason Pike as New Head Coach for Girls Basketball Program
Oneida Special School District (OSSD) is proud to announce the appointment of Jason Pike as the new Head Coach of the Oneida High School (OHS) Girls Basketball team. A 1995 graduate of Oneida High School, Coach Pike is a longtime dedicated member of the OSSD family. He currently serves as a JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) and Strength and Conditioning teacher at the high school, where he has built strong ties within the school community. Coach Pike brings extensive coaching experience across multiple levels and sports. His background includes serving as an assistant coach for both boys’ and girls’ high school basketball, coaching roles in middle and high school football, and head coaching positions for Oneida Middle School (OMS) baseball and boys’ basketball. “We are excited to have Coach Pike leading our girls’ basketball program,” said Dr. Jeanny Phillips, Director of Schools for the Oneida Special School District. “His loyalty, deep connection to our school community, and proven track record make him the ideal leader to guide the Lady Indians forward.” Former players frequently describe Coach Pike as caring, determined, and passionate about mentoring young athletes. He is committed to building on the program’s positive momentum while emphasizing academic success, character development, and competitive excellence. Coach Pike is married to Becky Pike, and they have two daughters, Kelsey and Madison. The Oneida High School community is excited to welcome Coach Pike in his new role and looks forward to a bright future for the girls’ basketball program.
