Margaret (Maggie) Crabtree
April 4, 1978 – August 20, 2025

Margaret (Maggie) Crabtree age 47, departed this life on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. She was born on April 4, 1978 to the late John (J.H.) Crabtree and Judy Ann Crabtree. She was member of Capital Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Our hearts are broken, but we know that she has been made new in Christ. She is gone too soon and will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Sisters: Katherine Sue Lowe and Frances Mae Harness. Brother-in-laws: Marshall Lowe and Finley Harness.
She was survived by her fiancé: Jonathan Cook; Brother: James “Buddy” Crabtree and wife, Joyce Ann; Nieces: Wanda (Pat), Jennifer (Rick), Zamma (Zack), Gloria (Charlotte), Emily (Daniel), Jennie (Dean), Tracy, Kayla, Haley (Jeff), Brittany, Amber, and Crystal; Nephew: Josh Newport and Josh King; Great-Nieces: Nena, Courtney (Dakota), Abygale, Mariah, and Olivia; Great-Nephews: Anthony, Logan, Jonathan, Tyler, Blake, Damean, And Tyson; Great-Great Nieces: Hazel, Everleigh, and Hartley; Great-Great Nephew: Ryan; and many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral services to begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville with Bro. Dudley Harness officiating. Music provided by Scotty Harness. Burial to follow in the Winona Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
