Sheila G. Foster, age 76, of Oneida, TN, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell, TN. Born July 20, 1949, in Oneida, she was the daughter of the late Josie Honeycutt.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her infant sister: Carol Ann Foster; and brother: Brian Honeycutt.
Sheila is survived by her sister: Carolyn Sue Chambers and husband Harold of Winfield; brother: Fred Foster of Oneida; nephews: Rick Chambers and wife Debbie, Wesley Chambers, Matthew Foster and wife Erin; niece: Tammie Wellen and husband Robert; great nieces and nephew: Kaylah Chambers, Ella Lawson, Mitchell and Sara Foster; sister-in-law: Vanessa Honeycutt; as well as other family members and a host of friends.
The family would like to extend a special ‘Thank You’ to Big South Fork ER, especially Dr. Patricia Meisner, Scott County Ambulance Service, and Tennova North Hospital ICU.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the New Light Cemetery in Winfield, TN with Bro. Kyle Keeton officiating. Music will be provided by Kaylah Chambers.
