Big South Fork Medical celebrated the grand opening of its new Wound Care Center on September 9, 2025, bringing advanced treatment options closer to home for Scott County residents.
Until now, many patients had to travel outside the county for specialized wound care. The new center changes that by offering a wide range of services, including consultations and evaluations, non-invasive vascular studies, specialty dressings, compression therapy, infection treatment, debridements, and advanced wound therapies.
The center is designed to give local patients quicker, more convenient access to the care they need, helping improve healing and recovery without the burden of long travel.
