Harley’s Angels Gives Back to the Community

What began as a simple clothing brand with Oneida roots has quickly grown into something much more meaningful for the local community. Harley’s Angels, founded by Oneida native Harley Boyatt, is in the process of expanding into a charitable foundation dedicated to giving back locally – in recognition for what the community has given Boyatt. The entrepreneur’s vision includes creating scholarship opportunities for local students and supporting additional charitable initiatives throughout the community, the company told SCN.
Recently, to lay that groundwork, Boyatt returned to her alma mater at Oneida High School to share her vision with the next generation. A former basketball player and active student during her time at the school, Boyatt said returning to the halls where her journey began made the moment especially meaningful.
During a school assembly, she was able to speak directly with students about her personal experiences and the path that led her to create Harley’s Angels. Her message centered on perseverance, self-belief, and the importance of pursuing goals despite obstacles. As part of the visit, each girl in attendance received a bag containing merchandise from Boyatt’s Harley’s Angels brand.
Later that evening, Boyatt hosted a free community event where food was provided at no cost to attendees. The response, the company said, was overwhelming. The local restaurant, where the event was hosted, was filled throughout the evening, with supporters packing the space and every seat taken.
For Boyatt, the turnout served as a powerful reminder of the support within the community and the shared desire to invest in its future, and as her company continues to evolve into a charitable foundation and meet fruition, for Boyatt, its mission remains clear – lifting others up and giving back to the community that helped inspire it.
