Scott County Clerk Felicia Bilbrey attended the Tennessee County Clerk’s Conference last week, where clerks from across the state gathered to discuss
government updates from the legislative session, office procedures, and ways to better serve their communities.
“I had the opportunity to attend the Tennessee County Clerk’s conference this week, where we learned about new legislation that will be affecting our office, communicated directly with Tennessee Department of Revenue staff, and gained valuable knowledge through networking with fellow clerks across the state,” Bilbrey said.
During the conference’s business meeting, Bilbrey received a significant honor when she was appointed 2nd Vice President of the Tennessee County Clerk’s Association, describing the appointment as both humbling and meaningful.
“This appointment is truly a privilege, and I am grateful for the trust and confidence placed in me,” Bilbrey said in the statement released to her social media account.
The Scott County Clerk said she is focused on assuring the local office will continue to provide the dependable and informed service that it has long offered. “I remain committed to working hard to bring the most up-to-date knowledge and information back to the County Clerk’s office so we can continue providing the best possible service to our community,” she said.
