Matthew Earl Anderson age 34, departed this life on Saturday, June 13, 2026. He born in Knoxville, Tennessee on September 5, 1991 to Lisa Byrd and Virgil Anderson.
Matt enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hanging out with friends and music. He loved to laugh, crack jokes, and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was saved and baptized. He believed in God and had a bible that he had some of his favorite verses highlighted.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Odeva and Faye Byrd, Steve and Marie Johnson; Great-Grandmother: Mertie Adkins and Great-grandfather Earl Anderson; Uncles: David Byrd; Cousin: Derik Byrd.
He is survived by his wife: Alivia Anderson of Oneida; Mother: Lisa Byrd of Norma; Dad: Virgil and wife Karen Anderson of Maynardville; Sons: Skyler Anderson and Walker Anderson of Lafollette; Daughters: Emma Anderson and Ella Goad of Oneida; Grandson: Parker Anderson; Brothers: Joshua and wife Ashlee Byrd of Oneida, Craig Anderson of Norma, and Andrew Anderson of Maynardville; Sister: Jessica Johnson of Maynardville; Step-Children that he loved like his own: McKenna, Kassidy, Kynlee, Kiana, and Kaizlynn; Mother-in-law: Tina King of Oneida; Father-in-Law: Jamie Crabtree of Kentucky; Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. until time of service to begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville with Bro. Carlie Duncan officiating. Music to be provided by Jakes Branch Baptist Church Choir. Burial to follow in the Reed Cemetery.
