Vanita Phillips age 51, departed this life on Monday, February 16, 2026. She was born on March 21, 1974 to the Geraldine Walker and the late Melvin Cromwell. She had such a generous spirit and loved Jesus above all. She loved her family and will be dearly missed but will be always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, mimi, sister and aunt.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by: Marvin Cromwell, Sammy Walker, and Macel Chaney.
She is survived by her mother: Geraldine Walker Brown; husband: Audie Joe Phillips; Brothers: Nathaniel Walker, and Daniel Cromwell and wife Lucy; Twin Sister: Victoria Cromwell-Sexton and husband David; Sons: Michael Lloyd Jr. and wife Emily, Jovan Phillips and Anastasia Harness, and Jadrian Phillips and wife Lilli; Her pride and joys her grandbabies: Berkley Noah, Wrenley Jaymes, and Haisley Rayne Lloyd; Nephews: Rodrick Leib and Reagan, Cody Leib, Dylan Cromwell, Ryder Leib and Aleah, Jamason Leib and Brandon Leib; Nieces: Brooke Ellison and Ryan, Jazamine Coffey and Alex, Chloe Leib and Hailey Cromwell; Special Friends: Jennifer and Sydney Trammel, Amber and Joey Massengale; and many other family member and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville with Bro. Dwight Stanley and Bro. Jeff Chaney officiating. Burial to follow in the Annadell Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Austin West, Mikey West, Andrew Massengale, Levi Massengale, Wyatt Seabolt, and Mike Kirby.
Honorary: Berkley, Michael, Jovan and Jadrian.
