Members of Scott County Sheriff’s Office from 2018 – 2023

It is with heavy hearts that the Scott County Sheriff’s Office announces the passing of retired K9 Moro.
K9 Moro faithfully served the citizens of Scott County and the members of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office from 2018 until his retirement in 2023.
As a dual-purpose K9, Moro was certified in narcotics detection, tracking, and criminal apprehension. Throughout his career, he aided in countless drug investigations and arrests, helping remove illegal narcotics from our communities while protecting the citizens he served. His dedication, courage, and unwavering loyalty made him an invaluable member of our agency.
K9 Moro served with professionalism, courage, and commitment, leaving a lasting impact on the Scott County Sheriff’s Office and the community he proudly served.
We extend our deepest condolences to Drug Agent Lee Johnson, his family, and all those who had the privilege of serving alongside K9 Moro.
Although his watch has ended, Moro’s legacy will live on through the officers he served beside, the lives he impacted, and the safer community he helped create.
