Gary Dean Jeffers
May 15, 1956 – October 31, 2025

Gary Dean Jeffers age 69, departed this life at home surrounded by family on October 31, 2025. He was born on May 15, 1956, to the late Thomas and Ida Bell “Mitzi” Crowley Jeffers. He was a veteran of United States Army where he served for over 20 years ranked as Sergeant First Class. Gary was a member of the Masonic Lodge #670 of Robbins, Tennessee for 30 years and Shriner for 25 years; Gary was a teacher for Anderson County School System for 18 years. He was member of the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church since August 30, 1967. He was a loving Dad, Papaw, Brother, Husband, Uncle and Friend to all that knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Cheryl Button Jeffers; Sons: Thomas William Jeffers and Gary Lee Jeffers; Step-dad: Harold Strunk.
He is survived by his wife: Sherry Jeffers; Children: Tara Lynn Sexton and husband Coby, Monica Jeffers, Angie Schott and husband Bill, Lisa Warmoth and husband Matt, and Michael Mullen; Grandchildren: Evan, Liam, Garrick, Caleb, Brianna, Jaylee, Raylynn, Jacob, Elijah, Lilly, Braxton, and Ruthie; Sisters: Donna Boshears and husband Danny and Debbie Boshears and husband Dennis; Mother-in-law: Phyllis Slaven; Host of nieces and nephews; Special friends: Larry Silcox and Ladd Phillips; and many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until time of Masonic services to begin at 6:45 p.m. Funeral service will follow in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville with Bro. Ricky Sharpe and Bro. Dwayne Lawson officiating. Music to be provided by the Emmanuel Baptist Church Choir. Graveside services to be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fairview Cemetery with full military honors provided by American Legion Post #136.
Pallbearers will be Military Honor Guard.
