Drew Walker of Fairview raced in the cross country state championship race with 350 of the fastest qualifying young men in Tennessee. Drew was the only runner from Scott Co. participating. 15 of the racers were unaffiliated and ran individually while the remainder were teams of seven from the middle schools of the state. Drew placed 61 with a time of 12.3 which was a little over one and a half minutes behind the leader. His time improved over his qualifying time. 60 boys across the finish line in a minute and a half, was very hectic. Drew is the son of Justin and Alison Walker of Robbins. Great Job Drew! Keep up the good work!
