David Davidson
August 25, 1988 – September 27, 2025
David Davidson, age 37, departed this life on September 26, 2025. He was born on August 25, 1988. David will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on in the heart of those whose lives he touched.
“David’s life, like all of ours, was not without struggle.
But David was more than his struggles.
He was a son.
He was a brother.
He was a cousin.
He was a husband.
And above all… he was a father to five precious children who will always carry a piece of him in their hearts.
At only 37 years old, his time here feels far too short.
And the weight of his absence is almost unbearable for those who love him.
Yet even in the middle of this sorrow… we hold tightly to the truth that God’s love is greater than our failings.
Where people may see flaws, God sees His child.
Where the world remembers mistakes, God remembers mercy.
David’s story did not end with his struggles.
It ends with grace.
And now, we trust that he is safe in the presence of the One who forgives completely… and loves without limit. Our Lord Jesus Christ.
If only we could love as God loves—
forgiving without hesitation… embracing without judgment—
Our world would be a gentler place.
David’s life reminds us of the fragility of our days…
but also of the enduring promise that nothing—nothing—can separate us from the love of Christ.
And so… though we grieve deeply…
We also rest in knowing.
Knowing that David is now fully healed.
Fully forgiven.
And forever embraced in the arms of God.”
He was preceded in death by his pap who raised him: Tommy Davidson; Grandparents: Howard Strunk and Alice Strunk, Brenda Cotton and Chine Rutherford; Great-Grandparents: Tommy Davidson Sr. and Elizabeth Thomas Davidson, and Milford Cotton and Lillian Cotton; Special Aunt: Pearly Boles and many other loved ones.
He was survived by his parents: Michael and Vera; Mam: Sally Davidson; Wife of 14 years: Kristi Perkins; Children: Jace Davidson, Bentley Davidson, Easten Davidson, Isabella Maria Faith Davidson, and Ezekiel Davidson; Sisters: Patsy Davidson, Liz Reed and husband John, Ashley Ellis, Brittney Evans and Felecia Strunk; Brothers: Henry Lee Strunk, and Michael Strunk; and many other relatives and friends.
David’s wishes were cremation. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
