“Now the LORD had said to Abraham…I will make you a great nation;…I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you.” (Genesis 12:2-3)

By Rev Dale Lee
This month (June 2025) the nations will gather in New York against Israel at a special United Nations conference sponsored by France and Saudi Arabia. The purpose will be to force Israel to agree to a two state “solution” between themselves and the Palestinians. The Palestinians, since 1947, have refused such a “solution.” Why? Because they are fueled by the ideology of the extermination of the “Zionists.” They do not want peace but blood. Why? Because man either works with God or against Him in the establishment of His kingdom on earth. God chose Abraham and the land of Israel as the place of the future throne of Jesus on earth. Satan will do everything to stop this which, of course, he can’t. In 1897 the First Zionist Conference was held in Switzerland under the leadership of Theodor Herzl which proclaimed the right of the Jewish people to national rebirth on their own land. The land of Israel was then held by the Ottoman Turks. World War 1 ensued and the British defeated the Turks and took over the Holy Land. In 1917 a man by the name of Balfour wrote the historic Balfour Declaration which affirmed the right of the Jewish people to rebuild their national homeland in Israel. Only some 20 years later and as the Jews returned to Israel the most anti-semitic beast in history arose in Germany. His stated purpose was to exterminate the Jews. Hitler, describing his change into the murderer he would become, states that his “greatest transformation of all” was to become a bloodthirsty hater of Jews. Satan was surely pleased. Germany was bombed into rubble and Hitler shot himself. We cannot understand this world until we know what God’s purposes are and that they center on the land of Israel and the descendants of Jacob. Christians who believe the Bible and submit to the Lordship of our Jewish Savior Jesus must love, stand with, and pray for Israel.
