May 19, 1943 – April 8, 2025
Norma Jean Allred, age 81, departed this life on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. She was born on May 19, 1943, to the late Lewis Calvin Jeffers and Flora Byrd Jeffers. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church and loved her Lord Jesus Christ. As we mourn the loss of a remarkable woman, let us remember Norma for the light she brought into the world and the profound impact she had on those around her. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Quenton Allred; Son: James Randy Allred; Brother: Rexford “Donnie” Jeffers; Brother-in-law: Roger Silcox.
She is survived by her son: Jeffrey Calvin Allred; Grandchildren: Jessica Henderlight and Hannah Nelson; Great-Grandchildren: Lincoln Nelson, Felicity Nelson; Sister: Carol Sue Silcox; Sister-in-law: Patsy Jeffers; many more relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday evening, April 11, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service to begin at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville with Rev. Lawrence Henegar, Bro. Ledford Byrd, and Bro. Brian Patty officiating. Music will be provided by Denise Henegar and Jimmy Byrd. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Rector Byrd Cemetery.
