Debra Lewallen

January 18, 1955  –  February 19, 2025

Debra Jeannie Hedrick Lewallen age 70, departed this life on Wednesday February 19, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 18, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late William C. Hedrick Sr. and Betty G. Snethen York. Debra will be missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of whose lives she touched.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the Love of her Life: Warren Eddie Lewallen; bonus father: J.C. York; Brothers: Douglas Bruce York, and William Clyde Hedrick Jr.; Sisters: Delphine Hedrick Bryant; Cherished granddaughter: Kéri Melania Diamond Smithers; Brother-in-laws: Randy and David Lewallen; Step-daughter: Trisha Lewallen; Niece: Amanda Mae Roberts.

She is survived by her only Child: Penesa (Penny) Ann Bowling Driggers; Grandson: Joseph Lee Smithers Jr.; Johnathon Christopher Steven Smithers and wife Caitlin; Great Grandchildren: Johnathon Christopher Steven Smithers Jr. and Kiri Deana Louise Smithers; Aunt: Mary Williams; Brothers: Kenny Hedrick and wife Brenda, and J.C. York Jr; Sister: Sheila (Sue) Keene and husband Joey; Sister-in-Laws: Connie Phillips and husband Gilbert, and Dee Lewallen; Bonus daughter: Angela Michelle Haley; several loving nieces and nephews; two very dear and special friends: Nancy Weatherford Hoffman, and Becky (Lucy) Hurt; and many more relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday February 22, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service to begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville. Burial to follow in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in the Robbins Community.
