Cheryl Lynn (Watson) Shirley

November 8, 1953 ~ July 2, 2026

Cheryl Lynn “Watson” Shirley, age 73, of Thorn Hill, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026.
Born to Joseph Berrien Watson and Kay Arlone Watson, Cheryl experienced a difficult childhood that shaped much of her life. She was known for her artistic spirit, her sense of humor, and her deep affection for animals.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Duane; her sisters, Linda and Karen; and her son, Tommy, the beloved brother of Christina and Joe.
She is survived by her daughter, Christina Cross; her son, Joe Watson; her brother, Steve Watson; as well as her grandchildren and extended family, who will remember her in their own meaningful ways.
Though life took different paths, Cheryl remained a part of our lives, and she will be remembered with love and respect. Her unique personality and the memories she leaves behind will not be forgotten.
A graveside service will be held on July 11, 2026, in Scott County, Tennessee. The family appreciates the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time.
