Rep. Kelly Keisling was among the guests at last week’s Chamber of Commerce meeting. Keisling addressed several issues, including the controversial redistricting that he supported during a special legislative session. In a distributed email to a constituent, Keisling said that he voted for to redistrict to assure that the people of the Upper Cumberland Valley have a strong and effective voice. “I supported this redistricting effort because I don’t believe any one group of people has extra rights over another,” the legislator said. “Every Tennessean still has the same constitutional right to cast a ballot and participate in elections.”
Keisling has touted what have been deemed wins for the state, including being ranked the #1 state for U.S. manufacturing, nuclear energy, for business startups, and for doing business itself. Travel & Leisure magazine has also named Tennessee the #1 best place to

live and the least vulnerable state for federal overreach. Keisling also touted legislative wins in the fields of law and order, illegal immigration enforcement, education, health, government efficiency, infrastructure, families, free speech, grants, and a successful budget.
