April 11, 1935 – November 22, 2025

Margaret S. Wright age 90, departed this life on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at home. She was born on April 11, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Dick and Amy Smith. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, daughter, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oneida.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert E. (Bob) Wright; father and mother-in-law: Cledith and Gladys Wright; two brothers: Robert Hiram and Richard B. (Dick) Smith and wife Vivian; two brothers-in-law: Bob Kidd and Darrel Wright.
She is survived by her Children: Amy Ellis and husband Cliff and Robert Wright and wife Carla; two-grandchildren: Amber Majka and husband Tony, and Jake Wright and wife Tuesday; three great-grandchildren: Ali and AJ Majka and Jasper Wright; brother-in-law: Roger Wright and wife Sandy; sisters-in-law: Gayla Kidd, Sheila Sexton and husband George and Barbara Wright; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ashley, and Mrs. Lisa, and all the staff at Thompson Medical Clinic and Gentiva Hospice.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. for all family and friends in the Hazel Valley Cemetery with Dr. Sean Lee officiating. Music to be provided by Brianne Upchurch.
Pallbearers will be Jake Wright, Tony Majka, AJ Majka, Richard Smith, Tony Kidd and Cade Sexton. Honorary pallbearers will be Jasper Wright, Mark (Sharkey) Bowling, Curtis Thompson, and Randy Shelton.
In lieu of flowers the family request that you do random acts of kindness during this holiday season in memory of our mother.
