Karen Sue Baird

Karen Sue Baird age 58, departed this life on Wednesday February 26, 2025. She was born on June 20, 1966 to late Albert and Cordella Harness. She was a member of Highpoint Baptist Church. She had such a generous spirit and loved Jesus above all.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Robert Baird; Sister: JoAnn Preeman.

She is survived by her Nephew, which was a like a son: Jamie Byrd and wife Toni; Nieces and Nephews, which were like her grandchildren: Katie, Hannah, and Jacob Byrd; Brothers: James Albert, Jerry Lee, and Ricky Harness; Sisters: Joyce Carson, Lois Byrd, Angie Chitwood and husband Shannon; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service to begin at 1:00 p.m. at the High Point Baptist Church with Bro. Josh Lay officiating. Music to be provided by the Slaven Family. Burial to follow in the Highpoint Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
