Elsie Mason Lowe age 89, of the Smokey Creek Community departed this life on Wednesday October 23, 2024. She was born on February 15, 1935 in the Smokey Creek Community to the late Modie Mason McGhee and Ulysses McGhee. She was a member of the Smokey Creek Baptist Church since she was fourteen years old. Elsie married the love of her life Edmon Lowe on March 28, 1954.
Both, Edmon and Elsie were born and raised, lived a happy life in the Smokey Creek Community and Members of the Smokey Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years: Edmond Leon Lowe; Son: Mark Lowe and Danny (Zeke) Lowe; One Grandson: Alexis Larkin (Lex) Lowe; Brother: Avery Lowe; 2 infant siblings; Brothers-in-law: Lawrence, Lawton, Vaughn, Clarence, W.A, and Ronnie Lowe and wife Linda; Sister-in-laws: Edis Lowe, Verla Mae Lowe, and Brenda Sue Lowe.
She is survived by her children: Robbie Lowe and wife Susan, Diane Massengale and husband Ricky, Sandra Pryor, David Lowe and wife Donna, Jerry Lowe, and Pamela Lowe; Six Grandsons: Nathan, T.J., Jon, Adam, Jeremy, Edmond Ray: five Granddaughters: Natalie, Wendy, Jessica, Chelsey, China; 12 Great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; Sister: Oma Lowe; Sister-in-law: Waldena Lowe, and Anna Mae Lowe, Betty Jo Trammell; and many other numerous family members and friends
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service to begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida with Bro. Carlie Duncan and Bro. Ricky Massengale officiating. Music to be provided by the Mason Family Singers. Burial to follow in the Smokey Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and friends.
