Elderly Scott County couple at center of Silver Alert found safe, TBI says

The notice came on behalf of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, which said 73-year-old Larry Young and 74-year-old Beverly Young have been missing since Saturday evening.
The two, who both have medical conditions, were last seen at Brimstone Recreation ATV Park in Robbins, Tennessee, TBI said.

The two, who both have medical conditions, were last seen at Brimstone Recreation ATV Park in Robbins, Tennessee, TBI said. They were both last known to be near Trail 43 before being found.
WVLT News spoke with Scott County Sheriff Brian Keeton, who gave some insight into the local search for the couple. Keeton said his agency, along with the Fentress County Sheriff’s Office, Morgan County Sheriff’s Office and Wartburg Police Department had responded to the scene.
Morgan County EMA Director Ethan Webb provided more insight about the couple and where they were found.
Webb said Larry and Beverly were found about 500 yards apart from each other when search crews found them as Larry was trying to find help.
Webb added that neither of them had anything to eat since Saturday. He also said Larry drank water from a creek, but Beverly didn’t have anything to drink since they went missing.
Both Larry and Beverly were in stable condition, Webb said. Larry went home, while Beverly was taken to the hospital after being rescued using a Blackhawk helicopter from the National Guard.
