The Renaissance Comes to Oneida
Photos by Jason Duncan
The Oneida Renaissance Faire traveled back in time to the days of Shakespeare, Columbus, and Michelangelo. The event falls under the endless imagination of local business owner Moe Mullis, proprietor of The Black Cat on Main Street. This special event was held on April 18th & 19th. The park was transformed into a lively celebration of Renaissance and Medieval culture. The Faire included family-friendly entertainment, including live performances, games, artisans, food trucks, costume contests, and vendors from across the region. This year, the Oneida festival was also a charitable fundraiser, with proceeds benefiting Halos Home Animal Rescue.
