Jason Wade Griffith
September 5, 1978 – December 20, 2025

Jason Wade Griffith age 47, born on September 5th, 1978, in Amherst, Ohio to Gaither and Vinadean (Shannon) Griffith departed this life on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, Kentucky.
He was a graduate of Firelands High School in Firelands, Ohio and went on to further his education as an auto body repair and painter at the Lorain Joint Vocational School in Oberlin, Ohio. He also obtained many college course Bible credits from the Evangelical Training Association and obtained teaching status to train other scholars. Jason made his career as an auto body paint specialist. He worked for Ed Mullinax Ford, Amherst, Ohio, and Earl Tindol Ford in Gastonia, North Carolina. He was a Good Salesman, Tire Manager, and owned his own Cafe’ in Oneida, Tennessee, called Griff’s Cafe. In his early years he was devoted to ministry for the Lord at Broadway Assembly Church, in Lorain, Ohio and Faith Worship Center in Baton Rouge Louisiana. He was a Children’s Pastor, and Assistant Pastor and started Bayou Bible College to teach others about the word of God at Faith Worship Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He went on to be an Elvis Tribute Artist performing multiple shows in Memphis, TN. and beyond. He also performed as Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash and more. He loved to sing, play his guitar and entertain. He had several music CD’s made. He had built up a fan base of over 4k members.
He was proceeded in death by his Father Gaither Griffith and Aunt Louise Lowery.
He is survived by his ex-wife of 12 years, Kimberly (Fordyce) Griffith; children, Jesse Griffith and Kara Griffith. His mother Vinadean (Shannon) Griffith; sister Jackie (William) Blankinsop; brother, Johnny Griffith; grandmother Opal (Griffith) Sexton; nieces Jennifer (Blankinsop)Benesh and husband Eric, along with Jennifer’s children Kaylee and Mason Mcfadden. Sierra Griffith and daughter Arianna; nephews Joshua (Miranda) Blankinsop and Cody Griffith. And many other aunts, uncles cousins and friends. He was proceeded in death by his Father Gaither Griffith and Aunt Louise Lowery.
Psalms 118:17, I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, December 27th, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service to begin at 11:00 am in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville. The family will speak about memories and tributes of Jason’s life. Burial will follow at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Griffith, Cody Griffith, Bill Blankinsop, Josh Blankinsop, Tony Jones, Adam Bowling, Joe Feigi, Dakota Overtone.
