Tennessee Auctioneers Association Announces 2025 Hall of Fame Inductee — Traci Ayers Dower
The Tennessee Auctioneers Association (TAA) is proud to announce Traci Ayers Dower as the 2025 inductee into the TAA Hall of Fame, recognizing her decades of leadership, integrity, and dedication to the auction profession.
A second-generation auctioneer, Dower grew up immersed in the auction business under the guidance of her parents, Hack and Toni Ayers. From an early age, she learned the value of hard work, faith, and putting clients first — lessons that became the foundation of her career and family business.
“Being raised in a family of auctioneers shaped my whole world,” Dower reflected. “My father’s integrity and professionalism are what our company, Ayers Auction and Real Estate was built on, and we strive to continue that legacy every day.”
Throughout her career, Dower has remained a steadfast supporter of the Tennessee Auctioneers Association. Her involvement has spanned mentorship, leadership, and service—always marked by professionalism and a genuine care for others. Her appreciation for the association’s impact runs deep: “The TAA has been a part of my life in so many ways,” she said. “When challenges came, the outpouring of support from fellow auctioneers reminded me that this organization is truly a family.”
In her heartfelt acceptance, Dower expressed gratitude to her husband, J.J. Dower, her sisters, Debra Nelson, Codi Provins, and Paul Provins, her children, Addison Russell and Alissa Miracle, and their husbands, and her co-workers for their continued involvement and support in the family’s auctions. She also credited her mentor and friend, Bear Stephenson, for his inspiring role in her induction.
“I am deeply honored to join such an incredible group of professionals who have shaped my life,” Dower said. “I hope I’ve passed some knowledge and encouragement down to the next generation, just as others have done for me.”
The Tennessee Auctioneers Association congratulates Traci Ayers Dower on this well-deserved honor and thanks her for her enduring contributions to the profession and the association.
