The Sunshine Bus will be at the City Park Splash pad, Mon – Friday through the month of July from 11-1 daily. They offer free meals to kids 18 and under.
Honor Guard Recruitment and Need – Oneida’s American Legion Post 136 Honor guard an all-volunteer group need new members for our team as well as new uniforms. Anyone interested in learning more about being an Honor Guard member, or in donating for the purchase of uniforms, please call the Veterans Service Office at 423-663-4289, M-F, 8:00AM to 4:30 PM. U.S.S Tennessee Museum Located at Scott County High School will be open July 26th, August 9th & 23rd, September 13th & 27th (Scott County Heritage Festival), October 11th & 25th, November 8th & 22nd and December 6th.
Free Clothing Distribution – Appalachian Ministry Center, located at 24728 Scott Hwy in Winfield (Old Winfield School Building) will have a free clothing distribution on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from 9am-12 noon.

Clean Slate Addiction And Trauma Recovery Group. Meetings are every Monday at 6:30pm at Thrive Church; 130 Choate Lane, Oneida Tn 37841. For more info call/text Miranda Salada at 423-577-9221. The Blakey’s will be singing at The Pine Grove Baptist Church Sun evening, July 27th. Services begin at 6:00.
Highland Harmony Community Chorus – A program created through the Appalachian Society of the Arts is open to area adult and teens (14 and up) who want to sing together in a large group. Rehearsals are on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Oneida. Annual dues is $40 for music and supplies.
