Officer Amy Day Completes 40-Hour CIT Training

Please join us in congratulating Officer Amy Day on completing a 40-hour Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training! This program is designed to better equip law enforcement officers with the skills and tools needed to respond effectively to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Through this training, Officer Day has gained enhanced communication, de-escalation, and intervention strategies that will help strengthen our community response and improve outcomes for those in crisis.
