The Scott County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Department recently completed an 8-hour Defensive Tactics course focused on real-world, hands-on training.
This annual training prioritizes officer and inmate safety, covering de-escalation techniques and physical control tactics to ensure staff remain prepared and capable. Emphasizing continuous education and skill development.
The Sheriff’s Office is committed to maintaining a high standard of professionalism and safety. Special thanks were given to the participating officers and Sgt. John Gray for leading the training.
