Free Clothing Distribution – Appalachian Ministry Center, located at 24728 Scott Hwy in Winfield (Old Winfield School Building) will have a free clothing distribution on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from 9am-12 noon.
Free Breakfast – Elgin Community Center Will Host a Free Breakfast February 10, 2025, 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. The Elgin Community Center is located at 184 Elgin St. Elgin, TN. This will be an Old Fashioned FireSide Restaurant Breakfast. Eggs, Bologna, Sausage, Ham, Fried Potatoes, Pancakes, Biscuit and Gravy with Drink. Donations Welcome No School, No Breakfast.
Oneida Masonic Lodge #695 will be serving breakfast starting in February, the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. $8 a plate, 7am-10am.
Public Meeting – 2025 Huntsville and Oneida Parks & Recreation Master Plan. We are inviting the community to attend a public workshop. During this event, we will discuss the different elements of the plan and this meeting is an opportunity for you to share your thoughts, feedback, and comments. Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, Town of Oneida – 5 p.m. at Oneida City Hall, 19922 Alberta St. Oneida. Town of Huntsville – 7 p.m. at Huntsville Municipal Building, 3053 Baker Hwy., Huntsville.
Disabled American Veterans Post 91 will meet at 6pm in the war memorial building on Monday Feb 10th, 2025. Commander Dwayne Hughett invites all veterans to attend. All meetings are 2nd Monday of month at the war memorial bld.
Boy Scout Troop 333 meets every Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the American Legion Building, 19175 Alberta St., Oneida. Stop by or contact the Scoutmaster at (423) 319-9753.
Highland Harmony Community Chorus – A program created through the Appalachian Society of the Arts is open to area adult and teens (14 and up) who want to sing together in a large group. Rehearsals are on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Oneida. Annual dues is $40 for music and supplies.
