Jerri Lou Hughett

January 23, 1942  –  December 21, 2024

Jerri Lou Duncan Hughett, age 82, departed this life peacefully at home with her family. She was born on January 23, 1942, to the late Homer Duncan and Mary Edna Murphy Duncan. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. Jerri was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will forever be missed, loved, and cherished by all that knew her. 

In addition to her parents, Jerri is preceded in death by her husband: James Harold Hughett; 1) Brother: Bill Duncan.

She is survived by her children: Jeff Hughett and wife Debra, Jodi Raines and husband Richard, Jared Hughett and wife Greta; 7 Grandchildren; 7 Great- Grandchildren; Sister: Edna Faye King and husband Herb; Half Sister: Carol Roberson; Sister-in-Law: Sharon Duncan; Very Special Granddaughter-in-Law: Dijana Caldwell; Special Fur Baby, Paris; Many other Special Relatives and Friends.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to hospice Nurse, Pam Byrge. 

The Family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, December 23, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral service to begin at 1:00 P.M.  in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida with Bro. Chuck Lowe and Bro. Billy Cross officiating. Music will be provided by The Singing Hamby’s. Burial will follow in James Harold Hughett Memorial Cemetery in the Sugar Grove Community.

Pallbearers will be Jared Hughett, Jeff Hughett, Timothy Caldwell, Todd Duncan, Billy Cross, and Bill Richmond.
