Neva June Griffith

December 11, 1942  –  December 5, 2024

Neva June (Posey) Griffith age 81, of the Mountain View Community, peacefully departed this life to be with the Lord on Thursday December 5, 2024. She was born on December 11, 1942 to the late Arvel Sr. and Vivian Posey. She was a member of the Lone Mountain Missionary Baptist Church. Neva was a devoted loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a devoted follower and servant of the Lord Jesus Christ her entire life.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Rev. Frank Griffith; infant granddaughter: Sydney Krahn; Brother: Audie Posey; Sisters: Sharon Pierce and Sandra Spradlin.

She is survived by her three children: Anita Griffith of the Mountain View Community; Sons: Stacey Griffith of the Mountain View Community and Perry Griffith (Robby) of Florence, SC; Grandchildren: Jared Griffith, Jacob Steelman, Jesse Rhae Griffith, and Jamie Krahn; Great-grandchildren: Walker, Ariel, Vanessa, Wales, Cayden, and Charlee; Brothers: Arvel Posey Jr. and Jerald Posey; Sister: Jureda Spradlin; and many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank Grace Primary Care, Quality Home Health, and Quality Hospice, and extend a special thanks to hospice caregivers Brenda and Renee.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida with Rev. Stacey Griffith officiating. Burial to follow in the Lone Mountain Cemetery in Robbins, TN.
