Sandy Monroe from Busy Bee Early Learning Daycare is being commemorated for her accolades in receiving endorsements for Infant and Childhood Mental Health from The Association of Infant Mental Health in Tennessee, also known as, AIMHiTN.
AIMHiTN is an organization which provides educational opportunities to healthcare and childcare professionals with the intent to train these professionals in the importance of childhood relational health. Childhood Relational Health is a framework of evidence based practice and research that promotes safe and affirming social relationships with children through positive interactions with caregivers, leading to not only better mental health outcomes but also decreased risk of illness and disease in adulthood.
To receive endorsement, recipients must prove that they have met the required competencies through classes or continuing education. Recipients must also pass an exam to prove their core competencies.
