Eagle Creek District Fall Camporee

Troop 333 and Crew 333 participated in the Eagle Creek District Fall Camporee at Camp Buck Toms, October 4-6. The event was Frontier Themed so the Scouts got to try their hand at events such as rope making, fire starting, tomahawk throwing, cross cutt saws draw knife and branding. They also played games such as Fox and Geese, Marbles, Click and Wheel and Jacks. They received 1st place in tug o’war, Click and Wheel and fire starting and 2nd place in tomahawks. When the scores were tallied, Troop/Crew 333 brought home the district trophy! This is the first even for the Crew.
Troop 333 is open to any boy age 11-18 and Crew 333 is open to anyone 14-21. Both groups meet every Tuesday at 6 at the America Legion in Oneida.
