Ernest Ray “BOOTS” Bell age 76, departed this life on September 21, 2024. Born on December 9, 1947 to the late Ermon Ray Bell and Lizzie Della (Bell) Young.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his: brothers: John Russell Bell, David Paul Bell, Jerry Milford Bell, and James Richard Bell; Sister: Melissa Sue Young; Grandparents: Lee and Margaret Crabtree and Wilburn and Bessie Bell; Aunts: Irene Strunk and Glenna Collins; Uncles: Dillard Crabtree and wife Janice, and Shirley “Shirl” Crabtree; Brother-in-laws: Freeman Slaven, and Maynard Huddleston.

He is survived by his wife: Vivian Bell; children: Wilburn Ray Bell and wife Kelli, and Devonia Murphy; Step-Children, raised as his own: Wes Stumbo, Hannah Lester, Dustin Stumbo, Teri Adkins, and Brittany Stumbo; Grandchildren: Braden Murphy, Chris Murphy, Eric Bell, Emma Bell, Katelyn Dekrell and husband Bradon; Great-Grandchildren: Adison Murphy, Sophia Bell, Brooklyn Bell, Jack Dekrell, Cole Dekrell, and Addaline Dekrell; Sisters: Wanda L. Davis, Betty L. Slaven, Linda Darlene Lee and husband Eugene, Brenda Huddleston, and Shelva Jean Slaven and husband Wade; Aunts: Norma Jean Potter and Wanda Crabtree; Uncle: Ernest Crabtree and wife Dottie; many other nieces, nephews, many other family and friends.

Grave side service will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the Crabtree Family Cemetery in the Pistol Lane community with Bro. Bradley Kidd officiating.

Pallbearers were friends and family.
