Moses Lowe

Moses Lowe, age 78 of the Fairview Community, went to be with His Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 27, 1945 in the New River Community to the late Henry and Cynthia (Patterson) Lowe. He was a member of the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church. Moses loved sitting on the porch enjoying God’s Creation; hearing his son preach and riding the side-by-side with him; listening to his daughter play the piano while her and her mother sung gospel songs; and spending quality time with his daughter-in-law, granddaughter and her husband.
In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his (7) brothers: John, Ray, Alfred, Delford, Ben, Kenny and Aaron Lowe; (1) sister: Easter Lowe.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lilly Mae (Lawson) Lowe of the Fairview Community; son: Charles Daniel Lowe and wife Tina of the Fairview Community; daughter: Wilma Lea Lowe of the Fairview Community; granddaughter: Ashley Kay and husband Ryan Sauls of Crozet, Virginia; two brothers: Silas Lowe and wife Billie of Smokey junction; Paul Lowe of Helenwood, Tennessee; two sisters: Ruth Crabtree and husband L.B. of Huntsville, Tennessee and Mary Compton of Somerset, Kentucky; two sisters-in-law: Beatrice Lowe of Smokey Junction and Judy Ervin of Jamestown, Tennessee; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 6:00 P.M. until time of the funeral service to begin at 8 P.M. in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville with Bro. Larry Sexton and Bro. Carlie Duncan officiating. Music will be provided by Carlie Duncan, the Adkins family and the Lowe Brothers from Bull Creek.
Moses will be laid to rest on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in the Smokey Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Tim Lowe, Paul Jr. (Bubba) Lowe, Keith Massengale, J.C. Massengale, Jim Eads, and Johnny Ballard. Honorary Pallbearers: L.B. Crabtree, William Lawson, Benny Lawson, Lonnie Lowe, Roy Byrd, Ronald Byrd, Kenton Burress, Tony Harness, and Eddie Anderson.
