Arthur ‘Oscar’ Taubert December 7, 1940 -December 4, 2023

Arthur ‘Oscar’ Taubert, age 82 of Robbins, TN passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023, at Parkwest Med-ical Center in Knoxville, TN. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and the founder of Taubert’s Heating and Air, spending 46 years doing what he loved. Mr. Taubert was preced-ed in death by his parents, Arthur and Esther Lawhorn Taubert; an infant sister; his brother, Dale; and brother-in-law, Roy Sharp. He is survived by his loving wife and son, Joeldean and Aaron Taubert of Robbins, TN; three grandsons, Derek (Heather) Taubert of Robbins, TN, Scott (Jordan) Taubert of Clinton, TN, and Marcus of Joplin, Missouri; his brother, Doyle (Ruth) Taubert; sister, Ernes-tine Sharp; sisters-in-law, Pam Taubert and Judy Sexton; brother-in-law, Paul Sexton; eight great-grandchildren, Troy Dean, Ally, Zoey, Tinlee, Jade, Maddox, Briggs, and Penelope; lots of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, friends, and neighbors. Friends may visit with the Taubert family on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 5 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Dilbert Terry offi ciating. Music will be provided by the Trinity Girls. Committal service will be on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11 a.m. in the Coal Hill Cemetery in the Glenmary community.

James York, Jr., age 37 of Robbins, TN passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023. Glenn Goldwyn LawsonSeptember 18, 1946 -December 7, 2023

Glenn Goldwyn Lawson, age 77, of Huntsville, TN, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Born on September 18, 1946, Glenn was the son of the late Felin and Grace Tatch Lawson. Glenn was a US Army veteran. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior on December 6, 2023. Glenn is survived by his daughters: Autumn Lawson of Clinton, TN, and Heather Cecil and husband Clint of Helenwood, TN, sister: Fran Jeffers and husband John of Huntsville, TN; brother: Eddie Lawson and wife Theresa of Plano, TX; two grandchildren: Luke and Reid Cec-il; special friends: Marshall Lloyd and wife Jeta, W.A. Jeffers; special cousin: Steve Lawson, and many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the Reed Cemetery in Helenwood, TN offi ciated by Bro. James Roberts. Paul Crabtree of Oneida, Tennessee passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023, at his home with his loving family by his side.Paul was born in Fentress County, TN on August 26, 1951, to the late Idra (Blevins) and James Crabtree. He was a beloved husband, father, and papaw. Paul was a member of the West Oneida Baptist Church.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Granddaughter: Kimberly Crabtree. Brothers: Amos Crabtree, Danny Crabtree, and Kenny Crabtree. Sisters: Martha Turner, and Lisa Faye Copeland.Paul is survived by his wife of almost 51 years: Deborah (Brewster) Crabtree; children: Thomas Crabtree, Shawn-da Crabtree, Josh Crabtree, Nathan Crabtree wife Cindy, Justin Crabtree, Matthew Crabtree, Sara Hutson husband Tyler; siblings: Rick Crabtree, James Crabtree Jr, Kather-ine Manis husband Willis, Patsy Hamby, and Shirley Let-ner. Paul is also survived by 26 Grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.Friends may visit with the Crabtree family on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 3 pm until the time of the fu-neral service at 4 pm. William Harlin Terry, age 88, of Oneida, TN passed away on De-cember 8, 2023, at his home with his family by his side. Born on May 22, 1935, he was the son of the late Caney and Maudie Blevins Terry. He was a member of the Leatherwood Baptist Church.In addition to his parents, Harlin is preceded in death by his brothers: Theodore and wife Ruth Terry, James Terry, and JD and wife Lois Terry; sisters: Mae and husband Earl Reynolds, Dorothy and husband Bill Young, and Lola Terry; niece: Patricia Reynolds.Harlin is survived by his wife: Dorothy Jewell Terry; daughters: Teresa and husband David Lawson, Debbie and Mike Sexton, and Vickie Terry; sons: Kenneth Clark, and Kevin and wife Cindy Terry; brother: Cordell and wife Ova Terry; sister: Bonnie Miller; several grandkids and great grandkids, and many nieces and nephews.Friends may visit with the Terry family on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 11 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral with Bro. Linda Laurerna EllisNovember, 1943 -November 2023

Linda passed away in Oak Ridge Methodist Hospital, after a long illness, with family by her side. She was a graduate of Robbins High School, and later obtained a masters degree in social work, becoming a licensed coun-selor in Social work. Preceding her in death were her parents, Calvert and Alma Goad Ellis. Brother Lewis (Bud) Ellis, wives Phylis Honeycutt, & Joyce. Paul Ellis, Anna Ruth, and Gail. Lonnie Ellis & infant Elbert Sauders Ellis. Sister in law Joyce, Brother in law James Burchfi eld. Nephews James Ronald Burchfi eld and Chris Ellis.Linda is survived by sister Imogene Burchfi eld. Broth-ers Phillip Ellis of Red Key, Indiana. David Ellis and Bar-bara of Oneida. Daniel and Mary of Florida. And Sister in law Karen Ellis of Huntsville. Many Nieces and nephews that she loved, that helped her all through the years. The last which were Logan & Wesley Ellis. Her wishes were cremation.The Family will have a memorial later.

 

Linnie MccoyJuly 30, 1943 -December 9, 2023

Linnie McCoy age 80, of Helenwood, Tennessee peace-fully passed away on Saturday December 9, 2023, at her home, with her family by her side. Linnie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born July 30, 1943, in Scott County, Tennessee. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband: Barney McCoy, granddaughter: Kellie Asberry Walker, and great-grandson Kip McCoy Walker. She is survived by her daughters: Pat (Jeff) Asberry of Helen-wood, Tennessee, and Sandra (Ed) Green of Cary, North Carolina. Four granddaughters: Amanda (Josh) Overton, Katherine Green, Melissa (Josh) Stone, and Lexi (Justin) Lemaster. Four great granddaughters, Stella and Clara Overton, Shelbie and Vera Walker. One great grandson, Fletcher Overton. Special mention of Dustin Walker, whom she considered her grandson. She also has a host of family and friends. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday December 12, 2023, at 12 noon in the Mt. Helen Cemetery in Fentress County, Tennessee. Service will be offi ciated by Bro. Craig Watters.
