Inmate Baptism Ceremony
September 6th @ 11:00 AM
By Sheriff Keeton
and Staff
The Scott County Sheriff’s Office is honored to host a special Inmate Baptism Ceremony on Saturday, September 6th at 11:00 AM at the Scott County Jail.
This marks our fourth baptism ceremony at the Sheriff’s Office—an ongoing testament to the power of faith, transformation, and community support.
This meaningful event will feature special guest Chaplain Charlie Golden and include participation from local churches who continue to support the spiritual growth and rehabilitation of those in our care.
We believe in second chances and the power of transformation. This baptism is a reflection of hope, renewal, and the journey toward positive change.
Jail Administrator/Captain Amy Lay:
“We’re proud to support opportunities for spiritual healing and growth inside our facility. This event represents the hard work and commitment of the individuals choosing a new path, as well as the continued efforts of our chaplaincy and faith-based partners in the community.”
We thank all the churches and volunteers who make events like this possible. Your impact is seen and felt.
Sheriff Keeton and Sheriff’s Office staff would like everyone in the community and family to come out and join us and supporting their loved ones.
