Scott County Mayor Jerried Jeffers, left, appeared with many citizens from across the county to mark Pray4TN Day.  Launched in 2024 and signed into law by Gov. Bill Lee on May 2, 2025, Pray4TN is an annual statewide call for those “physically able and spiritually inclined” to join in prayer, fasting, and repentance for the many issues that plague the state, including the drug pandemic, broken families, rising crime, and more.
