Vonnie Elizabeth Watson
February 16, 1935 – April 16, 2025

Vonnie Elizabeth Watson, age 90 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at the Oneida Nursing and Rehab Center. Born on February 16, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Shird Cooper and Eva Jane Waters Cooper. Vonnie was a member of the South Pine Knot Church of God.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles “Charlie” Watson; son Larry Wayne Hutson; brothers: Josh, Delbert, Arvil, Willie, Lonnie, Noble and Buddy Cooper; sisters: Minnie Pennington, Ruby Kelly, Deva Cooper, Pearl (Cooper) Whiting and Mary Jo (Cooper) Slaven; son-in-law Bobby Wilson.
She is survived by her daughter Judy Kay Wilson; grandchildren: Buffy, Richie and companion Tonya, April and husband Wayne, Nikki and companion Gary, and Dustin and wife Laura; great grandchildren: Justin Wilson and wife Kayla, Coty Dople and wife Brogan, Megan Massengale and husband Tyler, Kirby Ross and wife Amber, Kavan Wilson and companion Sarah, Cierra Ross and companion Logan, and Sydney and Prayleigh Wilson; great-great grandchildren: Bray, Layah, Teagan, and Kai Wilson, Ella, Abram, and Collyns Dople, Brayden, Kyson, Jonah Massengale, and Marnie, Raelynn Wilson, and Wyatt and Kaiden Ross; brothers: Thurman Cooper and J.B. Cooper; special friends Eddie and Tiny Daugherty; many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. until time of the funeral services to begin at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida with Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Burial will follow in the Cooper Memorial Gardens in Oneida.
Pallbearers will be Justin, Coty, Kaven, Kirby, Richie, and Dustin.
