Children’s Center of the Cumberlands – Please join us on Friday, April 4th, at Oneida Municipal Building at 11:30 AM as we plant 263 pinwheels in honor of the children we served in 2024 who are brave survivors of child abuse. Wear your blue to help us raise awareness.
Free Clothing Distribution – Appalachian Ministry Center, located at 24728 Scott Hwy in Winfield (Old Winfield School Building) will have a free clothing distribution on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from 9am-12 noon.
Oneida Masonic Lodge #695 will be serving breakfast the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. $8 a plate, 7am-10am.
Benefit Singing and Dinner for Emma Hughett – join us for a special benefit singing and dinner in support of Emma Hughett, who is currently battling leukemia. She is the daughter of Chad and Rhyan Hughett. The special event will be held at Scott High School on March 21st, 2025, from 6-9 p.m. The cost of a meal will be $10. There will be desserts that can be purchased for $14 each. We are #EMMA STRONG.
McCreary Fair Board Hope in Action invites you to participate in the Spring Beauty Pageant, a fundraiser for community based projects. Date April 5, 2025 at Heritage Hall in Stearns, KY. Entry fee $40. Proceeds benefit Hope in Action. 606-310-0658
Survivor’s Retreat at Possum Trot (FREE): April 5th 10AM-8PM at 517 Adkins Trail, Winfield TN. For sexual violence survivors, ages 18 and up. Karate for Christ Oneida presents Christ centered karate lessons at Oneida Church of God, 1100 Paint Rock Rd., Oneida, TN. Open to everyone 5 years and up regardless of age, size or shape. Suggested donation of $5.00 per class. For more information call Larry Mason at 302-535-3965.
The Scott County Democratic Party will hold a Reorganization Convention to elect new leaders on Sunday, March 23, 2025. The meeting will take place at the Scott County Office Building located at 2845 Baker Hwy, Huntsville, TN. Registration will be open at 2:00 p.m., convention start time is 3:00 p.m.
Boy Scout Troop 333 meets every Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the American Legion Building, 19175 Alberta St., Oneida. Stop by or contact the Scoutmaster at (423) 319-9753.
