William Pawlak

October 14, 1947  –  October 24, 2024

William Pawlak, age 77, departed this life on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. William was a former resident of Summerville, South Carolina. He was born on October 14, 1947 in Dunkirk, New York to the late Edward Pawlak and Sophie Nowak Pawlak. William retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 ½ years with the rank of SMSGT. He also worked at Wells Fargo as Captain for 10 years. He belonged to the Elks organization. William will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years: Patricia Burke Pawlak; Children: Jeffrey Pawlak and wife April of Rincon Georgia, and Amy Pawlak of Robbins Tennessee; Grandchildren: David and Sophie Pawlak Rincon, Georgia; Sister: Nancy Pawlak of Robbins, Tennessee; Sister-in-law & Brother-in-law: Ellen & Tom Sapp of North Charleston, South Carolina; and many other relatives and friends.

William’s wishes were cremation.
