Margaret Rose Potter

Margaret Rose Potter, age 84, departed this life on July 16, 2024, at Oak Ridge Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She was born May 27, 1940, to the late Jacob and Lottie Honeycutt Laxton. Margaret was a born-again Christian.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by (3) Brothers: Jacob Jr, Clifford and Chester (2) Sisters: Nellie Cotton and Sandra Pleasant; the father of her children: James Ray “Jim” Potter.

She is  survived by her loving children: James Potter, Jr. and wife Doris, Dennis Potter and wife Kelly, Michael Potter and Leecia Anne Potter; Grandchildren: Jodi Krahn (Sam), Doug Watters (Tracey), Jamie Fox (Drew), Blake Potter (Kelly), Amber Horne (Matthew), and Macey Phillips (Dallan) Great Grandchildren: Graci, Meg, Lexi, Emily, Adrian, Owen Mack, Rylee Blake, Nolan Dane, Andrew Grey, Stetson Jay, Luke, Lillian, Kolt and Augustus; Great-Great Grandchild: Laz; and many other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday July 18, 2024, from 1P.M. until time of funeral service to begin at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville, Tennessee, 2889 Baker Hwy. Huntsville, Tennessee, with Bro. Dean Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in the Potter Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Potter Jr, Dennis Potter, Blake Potter, Michael Potter, Brandon Potter, and Tim Terry
