Family and Community Education group – Fun, Food and info, April 6 at 5:00 p.m. in the Helenwood Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Join the Family and Community Education group a program of the University of Tennessee Agricultural Extension office in Scott County. At 5 p.m. there is a craft followed by a short presentation by various local organizations at 6 p.m. then a covered dish dinner. We meet the first Monday of each month.
God’s Grace Soup Kitchen is Saturday, March 21 at Helenwood Baptist Church Fellowship Hall at 11 am. Pinto beans, cornbread and dessert is provided free by volunteers of Scott County churches. Drive by and your lunch is handed to you without you having to leave your car.
The American Legion Monthly Bluegrass and Dinner is CANCELED for the month of March. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing you in April.

Honor Guard Recruitment and Need – Oneida’s American Legion Post 136 Honor guard an all-volunteer group need new members for our team as well as new uniforms. Free Clothing Distribution – Appalachian Ministry Center, located at 24728 Scott Hwy in Winfield (Old Winfield School Building) will have a free clothing distribution on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from 9am-12 noon.

Second Harvest of East Tennessee Mobile Food Pantry will be at Bethlehem Baptist Church of Oneida on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, from 11 a.m. until all the allocated food has been distributed. Second Harvest requests that recipients should arrive when the distribution starts, rather than arriving before the start time. The distribution will take place at 19360 Alberta Street, Oneida, TN.
