Free Clothing Distribution – Appalachian Ministry Center, located at 24728 Scott Hwy in Winfield (Old Winfield School Building) will have a free clothing distribution on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month from 9am-12 noon.
Second Harvest of East Tennessee Mobile Food Pantry will be at Bethlehem Baptist Church of Oneida on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, from 11am until all the allocated food has been distributed. Second Harvest requests that recipients should arrive when the distribution starts, rather than arriving before the start time. The distribution will take place at 19360 Alberta Street, Oneida, TN.
Unicorn Boutique in Wartburg will be opening on the first Saturday of each month beginning from 9-1, beginning on November 1.
Honor Guard Recruitment and Need – Oneida’s American Legion Post 136 Honor guard an all-volunteer group need new members for our team as well as new uniforms. Anyone interested in learning more about being an Honor Guard member, or in donating for the purchase of uniforms, please call the Veterans Service Office at 423-663-4289, M-F, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. U.S.S Tennessee Museum Located at Scott County High School will be open November 8th & 22nd and December 6th.
Scott County VFW Post 5669 Fun Run & Pancake Breakfast – An event like no other, and we want you to be there! This 2.5k run/walk and breakfast at the Oneida Senior Citizens Center This event will help with fundraising efforts for the VFW Memorial Wall. Nov 15, 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Annual American Legion Post 136 Veterans Day Program – The program will be held at the War Memorial Building located at 19175 Alberta St. Oneida on Tuesday November 11, 2025, beginning at 10:30 am. Following the program, Hot Dogs and Chili with refreshments will be served by our American Legion Auxiliary and donations will be accepted for our ongoing Building Restoration Fund.
Pine Hill Fire Dept. – Chicken & Dumplings Fundraiser, November 8th, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Senior Citizens Center, Main St., Oneida. All proceeds go to support the Pine Hill Fire Dept.
Clean Slate Addiction And Trauma Recovery Group Meetings are every Monday at 6:30pm at Thrive Church; 130 Choate Lane, Oneida Tn 37841. For more info call/text Miranda Salada at 423-577-9221.
