10 Counts of Statutory Rape among those in Circuit Court

Judge Zachary Walden handed down several dispositions in Circuit Court on September 2, 2025 for a variety of charges ranging from theft to statutory rape. While SCN cannot determine the validity of a certain charge, a disposition in cases can mean that the court has rendered a final decision on a particular case, and, therefore, the case can be closed.
One case on the docket pertaining to a violation of Sexual Offender Registration deals with the violation of Jack Leroy Schenck, who had previously spent five and a half years in prison after being sentenced in Virginia. In that instance, Schneck of Oneida, pled guilty to one count of carnal knowledge, without the use of force, of a child 13 years of age or older but under the age of 15. Following his release, Schneck was placed on probation and was required to register as a sex offender.
