Highland Harmony Community Chorus – A program created through the Appalachian Society of the Arts is open to area adult and teens (14 and up) who want to sing together in a large group. Rehearsals are on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Oneida. Annual dues is $40 for music and supplies. Yoga In The Park – at Oneida City Park Ampitheater, every Saturday at 9 a.m. Ages 18 and up, bring mat, towel & water. Text 606-802-6165 for reservation.

Karate for Christ Oneida presents Christ centered karate lessons at Oneida Church of God, 1100 Paint Rock Rd., Oneida, TN. Open to everyone 5 years and up regardless of age, size or shape. Suggested donation of $5.00 per class. For more information call Larry Mason at 302-535-3965.

Free Pancake Breakfast – The Elgin Community Center will be hosting a FREE Pancake Breakfast, November 1, 2024 from 8:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. Come join us for Pancakes, Sausage or Bologna, Coffee, Tea or Milk. Come spend some time with your friends and community. Donations are Welcomed and Appreciated. VFW Post 5669 Thanksgiving Dinners – VFW Post 5669 of Oneida, TN will be offering free takeout Thanksgiving dinners to Veterans and their families on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, from 11 am until 2 pm. Those wishing to receive the dinners must call the Post at (423) 569-5664 no later than November 17th to register by leaving a message indicating your name, phone number and number of meals desired.
