Accepting donations – TCAT is still accepting donations of water, nonperishable food items, formula and diapers to assist the flood victims in East Tennessee communities. Those donations can be dropped off at either the Oneida campus or the Huntsville campus from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday – Friday.
God’s Grace Soup Kitchen is starting back up at Helenwood Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, Saturday, October 19, 2024. Food is provided by Scott County Churches and this month’s menu is vegetable beef soup, cheese sandwich and dessert. It’s drive by to receive the sack lunches and serving starts at 12 noon
Highland Harmony Community Chorus – A program created through the Appalachian Society of the Arts is open to area adult and teens (14 and up) who want to sing together in a large group. Rehearsals are on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Oneida. Annual dues is $40 for music and supplies. Karate for Christ Oneida presents Christ centered karate lessons at Oneida Church of God, 1100 Paint Rock Rd., Oneida, TN. Open to everyone 5 years and up regardless of age, size or shape. Suggested donation of $5.00 per class. For more information call Larry Mason at 302-535-3965.

Homecoming – First United Methodist Church of Oneida will be having Homecoming starting at 11 a.m. on October 20th.
Fall On The Mall – 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, October 26th, Huntsville Courthouse Mall. All spooks, ghouls, witches, superheroes & princesses we want you to participate in the Fall on the Mall Costume Contest at 4 p.m. at Huntsville Mall Gazebo.
Fall Farmer’s & Maker’s Market – Tuesday Nights 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Oneida City Park September 3 – October 29th. Artisan items, baked goods, food trucks, goat milk products homemade soaps. Vendor Sign-ups: call Terry or Virginia 423-569-8300.
Scott County Farmers’ And Crafters’ Market – Has moved. Come see us every Saturday morning at our new location on the Huntsville Mall, 3053 Baker, Highway. Every Saturday morning from 9am-12pm.
