Classes
Highland Harmony Community Chorus – A program created through the Appalachian Society of the Arts is open to area adult and teens (14 and up) who want to sing together in a large group. Rehearsals are on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Oneida. Annual dues is $40 for music and supplies. YOGA in the Park – at Oneida City Park Ampitheater, every Saturday at 9 a.m. Ages 18 and up, bring mat, towel & water. Text 606-802-6165 for reservation.
Karate for Christ Oneida presents Christ centered karate lessons at Oneida Church of God, 1100 Paint Rock Rd., Oneida, TN. Open to everyone 5 years and up regardless of age, size or shape. Suggested donation of $5.00 per class. For more information call Larry Mason at 302-535-3965.

Singing – Journey Home will be singing at West Oneida United Baptist church on Sunday night, September 22. Services begin at 6:30 pm. Everyone is invited to attend.
Job fair – Tennier Industries will be holding a Job fair at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology at 180 Eli Lane in Oneida. September 17th. from 12 until 5 pm. Any Scott, Morgan, Fentress, or McCreary county resident interested in employment with Tennier Industries is encouraged to come by and fill out an application and talk with the employment team.
Homecoming – West Oneida Baptist Church will be having our homecoming Sunday, September 15, 2024. Special singers will be Still Blessed and The Botts Family. Preacher will be Brother Thomas Lynn. Services begin at 10:00 am. Everyone is invited to attend.
Tent revival – Join us at the Concord Baptist Community Chapel in a Tent revival beginning Sunday 9/15/2024 starting at 7 pm . Come join us praising the Lord at 412 Concord Rd Robbins Tn 37852. Preachers will be officiating are Bill Cooper, Howard Buck, and Jeff Lowe. Jeff Lowe and the congregation invites everyone to attend.
Bingo Night – The South Scott Community Club will be hosting Bingo Night, Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Elgin Community Center. Doors will open at 5:00 P.M. Admittance and Cards to play are free. Donations Accepted. All money goes toward the maintenance and upkeep of our Beautiful Robbins Community Park. Bingo start at 6:00 P.M.
TSC Farmer Market Car Show – Hosted by Tractor Supply. September 21, 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Produce, handcrafted jewelry, handcrafted soaps & candles, door prizes, food trucks & baked goods. Car entry – $5.00.
Scott County Historical Society – coffee event Saturday, September 14th, 2024, at 10:00am. Come have a doughnut and share a story or enjoy a new one. Located upstairs in the courthouse by the Huntsville Square.
Music on Main – Pickin & Pullin’ – Free event, September 14, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Main St., Oneida TN Enter to win the title of BBQ Royalty. $25 entry fee per meat entry. Prizes to be announced. Sign up at Black Cat on Main Street or going to ASotA.art and clicking the button on the MAoM banner.
Fall Farmer’s & Maker’s Market – Tuesday Nights 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Oneida City Park September 3 – October 29th. Artisan items, baked goods, food trucks, goat milk products homemade soaps. Vendor Sign-ups: call Terry or Virginia 423-569-8300.
Scott County Heritage Festival – Experience the Appalachian culture with live authentic demonstrations. Saturday, September 28th, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Event by Museum of Scott County, 400 Scott High Dr., Huntsville, TN.
SCOTT COUNTY FARMERS’ AND CRAFTERS’ MARKET – Has moved. Come see us every Saturday morning at our new location on the Huntsville Mall, 3053 Baker, Highway. Every Saturday morning from 9am-12pm.
