Traffic stop leads to multiple drug-related charges
Chief Laxton and the Oneida Police Department would like to recognize the outstanding work of K-9 Officer,
Corporal Kyler King and Officer Colby Vanhook. Officers arrested Kailynn Muse following a traffic stop in the early morning hours.
During the investigation, officers recovered multiple empty resale bags, digital scales, a methamphetamine pipe, hypodermic needles, Suboxone pills, tizanidine pills, and approximately 21 grams of heroin.
Muse was transported to the Scott County Justice Center for booking on multiple drug-related charges. Deputy Trevin Slaven with the Scott County Sheriff’s Department assisted during the investigation.
All persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
