ETHRA is recertifying for USDA Commodities during the month of November. If you would like to recertify & receive a new card in order to pick-up Commodities, come by the ETHRA Office with proof of income Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:30am-3:30pm. If you have questions please call (423) 286-6929 Ext.6702 or 6703. In accordance with federal law, both ETHRA and USDA are prohibited from discrimination on the basis of race, color national origin, sex, age, or disability.
Karate for Christ Oneida presents Christ centered karate lessons at Oneida Church of God, 1100 Paint Rock Rd., Oneida, TN. Open to everyone 5 years and up regardless of age, size or shape. Suggested donation of $5.00 per class. For more information call Larry Mason at 302-535-3965.
Grace Soup Kitchen – Saturday, November 16 beginning at 12 noon at Helenwood Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Scott County churches will be serving homemade chili, hot dog and dessert. Lunches will be handed in to cars since there is no inside dining.
VFW Post 5669 Thanksgiving Dinners – VFW Post 5669 of Oneida, TN will be offering free takeout Thanksgiving dinners to Veterans and their families on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, from 11 am until 2 pm. Those wishing to receive the dinners must call the Post at (423) 569-5664 no later than November 17th to register by leaving a message indicating your name, phone number and number of meals desired.
Scott County Retired Teachers will meet on Friday, November 15, at Oneida High School at noon.
